Volunteer

We love that you love the Symphony – and when it is safe to join us in Symphony hall, help us make the magic of music come alive for thousands of others! Whether you join us as a music enthusiast on our Young Professionals Board or help organize fundraising events, the Symphony has a place for you in our family. No musical experience necessary – just a passion for sharing the arts with our community. When it is safe to join us at Symphony Hall, below are the areas we welcome your assistance.

Chorus
Join us onstage and sing with the professional-level performing partner of The Phoenix Symphony! These talented individuals double as active volunteers for the Symphony. Auditions are held twice a year in August and January.

Phoenix Symphony Greeters
This passionate and committed group acts as ambassadors for the Symphony by creating the greatest overall concert experience for our patrons. For more information on becoming a greeter please contact Milena Capezzuto Charnicki and Stephen Charnicki at m.capezzuto@gmail.com or scharnicki@gmail.com.

Phoenix Symphony Young Professionals
These leaders encourage and cultivate younger audience members’ interest in and commitment to the Symphony. The Phoenix Symphony Young Professionals create social events tied to a series of concerts throughout the year and generate opportunities to mingle with peers while experiencing an array of classical and popular music. For more information about the The Phoenix Symphony Young Professionals, please contact PSYPgroup@gmail.com.

Box Office, Courtesy Table and Office Volunteers
Volunteers staff the will-call office prior to each concert at Symphony Hall and help at the lobby Courtesy Table providing information to concertgoers. Office volunteers provide assistance to our administrative staff, including during the Symphony for The Schools program to assist children from the bus to Symphony Hall (volunteers get to enjoy the concert as well!) For more information about any of these exciting volunteer opportunities and to accompany us in our dedication to arts and education in the community, please contact Ignacia Conchas at (602) 452-0412 or by email at iconchas@phoenixsymphony.org
