AZ Central: Top 20 arts events for October

A musical salute to all things automotive, the Phoenix Symphony’s “Sound of Speed” benefit concert and street festival was such a success last year that they’ve whipped up a sequel. Details: Saturday, Oct. 24. Street festival, 3 p.m. on Third Street outside Symphony Hall. $10; free for concert ticket holders. Concert, 7:30 p.m. at Symphony Hall, 75 N. Second St., Phoenix. $30-$99. 602-495-1999, phoenixsymphony.org.
