Is there a membership fee to join YPPS? No! You pay only for the events you attend. ($10/individual, $20/couple)
What is included in the event fee? Food and drinks during the YPPS event.
Are Symphony tickets included in the event fee? No. However, YPPS members are eligible for discounted tickets!
How many events are held each Symphony season? Approximately 6 per year. The Symphony season runs from September through May.
How will I know about an event? Karen Bea, the president, will send your e-mail an evite invitation with details of the event. Be sure to add evite.com to your safe e-mail contacts, so your invitation will not be automatically deleted.
Do members of YPPS sit together during the Symphony concert? On each evite, a section will be specified where YPPS members may purchase tickets to sit near other members.
At which concerts will YPPS events be held? Concerts selected give an overview of the symphony's wide repertoire. Often, we are able to coordinate with "Keeping Score", the program developed by Music Director Michael Christie, which gives real-time explanations of the music.
