The Phoenix Symphony Classroom Concert Series is incredibly popular! Through the generosity of various municipalities, funding for these performances is awarded to schools who express a desire to partner with the symphony. Remaining concert dates are given to schools through an application process.
We try to serve as many schools and cities as possible! Please fill out the Classroom Concert application if you are interested in a performance this year or applying for a grant with us in the future.

The Phoenix Symphony Education Ensembles, including String Ensemble, Brass & Percussion Ensemble and Woodwind Ensemble, perform educational and entertaining Classroom Concerts in valley elementary and middle schools.
Classroom Concerts inspire students to develop a deeper understanding of orchestral instruments, and the performances motivate students to become involved in instrumental music programs. The String Ensemble, comprised of 20 members of The Phoenix Symphony string section, has presented programs for the greater Phoenix area for nearly 30 years and has engaged valley students from all social and economic backgrounds. The Brass & Percussion Ensemble and Woodwind Ensemble will move into their third year of performing throughout the valley - serving to develop student understanding of the orchestra's instrument families.
